The Women’s Leadership Council was developed for women in the community interested in learning more about Northside Hospital Gwinnett and the services offered. This group has grown to more than 200 ladies who serve as good-will ambassadors and philanthropists for the hospital and its initiatives.
In 2016, Northside Hospital Gwinnett unveiled a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care ambulance, made possible by the fundraising efforts of the Women’s Leadership Council.
Most recently, this group is raised charitable contributions to purchase a new Carestream DRX-Revolution X-ray machine for the Circelli Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This is a mobile unit that allows clinicians to take imaging to the bedside of the tiniest patients and reduces their amount of radiation exposure by 50%.
